Who writes SeniorPawGuide

SeniorPawGuide is written and edited by Rafael Marques, pet parent to two senior dogs: a 14-year-old Lhasa Apso and a 13-year-old Shih Tzu who is gradually losing his sight and hearing. Caring for them day to day — adapting the house, testing ramps, beds, and diets, and navigating vet visits — is what drives this site.

The guides here come from that lived experience combined with careful research into veterinary sources. Every product recommendation is screened against what we would (or do) use with our own dogs.
